Meet Our Wonderful Staff of Head Chef's!
"Chef" Alisa is the owner and creator of The Playful Chef, LLC.  She is a graduate of Widener
University's Hotel & Restaurant Management Program.  She began her business in May of 2006 and
has successfully planned/hosted over 600 cooking events and parties.  She brings 10 years of
experience with ARAMARK as Food Service Director and at McGettigan Partners as a professional
meeting planner.  From this experience "Chef" Alisa brings much knowledge of party planning and safe
food handling.  You can relax and know that your party will be well-organized. Having two children of
her own and throwing numerous birthday parties for them has brought a whole other world of
experience to this "Chef."


"Chef" Sharon joined The Playful Chef team back in August of 2008.  She worked for a few months
as a Sous Chef along side Chef Alisa, but has proven her self to be a wonderful Head Party Chef.  
Just like Chef Alisa, she is a mom of three wonderful children.  Sharon is a Kutztown University
graduate with a degree in Art Education. She has over 10 years of experience working with preschool
children as well as experience substitute teaching in elementary, middle and high schools.  Her love
for cooking and her years of experience working with children is a true recipe for success.


"Chef" Jennifer is a mother of a sweet little girl and an adult college student who is working on her
degree in Child Education.  "Chef" Jennifer has teaching in her blood as she grew up with a mother
who is a teacher.  "Chef" Jennifer loves to spend time in the kitchen with her daughter as well as
does some cake decorating for fun.  She really enjoys being with children and cooking so, joining The
Playful Chef  was a natural decision in May of 2009.


"Chef" Heather's first experience with The Playful Chef was as the client/parent of the birthday
child back in 2008.  "Chef" Heather and her daughter loved the cooking party so much that in January
2011 "Chef" Heather decided that it might be fun to join The Playful Chef team.  "Chef" Heather's
food experience working as a personal chef, customer service skills and the wonderful way she has
with children make her the perfect match for The Playful Chef clients big and small.



Chef Eileen joined The Playful Chef team in March of 2011.  After a few months of training Chef
Eileen earned her place as a Head party Chef.  Chef Eileen has three wonderful children of her own
and has over 10 years of experience as a chef and teacher.  Eileen graduated with an AAS in Culinary
Arts from Johnson & Wales.  She has a true love for children and enjoys spending time in the kitchen
cooking.  "Chef" Eileen is a wonderful addition to our Playful Chef family.
