"Chef" Alisa is the owner and creator of The Playful Chef, LLC.  She
is a graduate of Widener University's Hotel & Restaurant Management
Program.  She began her business in May of 2006 and has successfully
planned/hosted over 400 cooking events and parties in the past three
years.  She brings 10 years of experience with ARAMARK as Food
Service Director and at McGettigan Partners as a professional meeting
planner.  From this experience "Chef" Alisa brings much knowledge of
party planning and safe food handling.  You can relax and know that
your party will be well-organized. Having two children of her own and
throwing numerous birthday parties for them has brought a whole
other world of experience to this "Chef."  
"Chef" Sharon joined The Playful Chef team back in August of 2008.  
She worked for a few months as a Sous Chef along side Chef Alisa,
but has proven her self to be a wonderful Head Party Chef.  Just
like Chef Alisa, she is a mom of three wonderful children.  Sharon is
a Kutztown University graduate with a degree in Art Education. She
has over 10 years of experience working with preschool children as
well as experience substitute teaching in elementary, middle and high
schools.  Her love for cooking and her years of experience working
with children is a true recipe for success.
"Chef" Julie joined The Playful Chef team in July of 2010.  She
worked for a month as a Sous Chef along side Chef Alisa, but has
proven her self to be a wonderful Head Party Chef.  Julie came to
The Playful Chef with previous cooking/party experience as a Party
Host at The Young Chef's Academy.  Julie is also the winner of
the 10! Shows Next Local TV Chef competition.  Julie, like Chef
Alisa, is an entrepreneur as well who runs her own specialty cake,
cookie, and dessert business www.juliessweettreats.com.  Julies
proudest role is being a mom to her sweet little girl .  Cooking and
baking are what Julie loves and she would love to sweeten your
child's day as a host at their next birthday party!
