The Playful Chef Cooking Classes
Looking for a cooking class for your kids? How about hosting a class at your school, home, or summer camp? We can provide a customized cooking classes at your location. There are two options available: Option #1 : The children will prepare 1 food item and a craft. The class will be approximately 45 minutes long*. Included in the price are all food, cooking utensils, craft supplies, disposable aprons for the children to wear, and 1 instructor. The cost for this class is $13.00 per child (minimum of 20 children per class), $15.00 per child (minimum of 12 children per class). Travel fees apply to locations further than 35 minutes from Harleysville,PA. The Class Host (parent, teachers, counselors) is responsible to assist the children with the cooking/crafting process. Option #2: The children will prepare 2 food items (one hot and one cold item is suggested) and a craft. The class we be approximately 1½ hours long*. Included in the price are all food, cooking utensils, craft supplies, disposable aprons for the children to wear, and 1 instructor. The cost for this class is $18.00 per child (minimum of 20 children per class), $20.00 per child (minimum of 12 children per class). Travel fees apply to locations further than 35 minutes from Harleysville,PA. The Class Host (parent, teachers, counselors) is responsible to assist the children with the cooking/crafting process. For larger classes, if you would like to request a second Party Chef to assist at the class, the cost will be $35.00. Please do note that when you choose this option that the Class Host will not be responsible to assist the children. We can offer food options to facilities that do not have an oven. Please ask about this type of class. Final guest count is due one week prior to the scheduled class date. This determines the shopping needs. * Note the time allotted for the class is spent preparing/cooking their food and creating their craft. Please allow time afterwards for the children to enjoy their creations. Also, the Chef will clean up their work station, but will not stay to clean up the table where the kids are enjoying their food.
